Our client, a $1 billion pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this HR professional will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of value-added human resources services for assigned client groups. Lead projects and initiatives in support of HR and client goals and objectives. Develop/implement programs to address client segment?s needs. Review and analyze current programs and recommend improvements. Administer a broad range of employee relations issues. Proactively recommend appropriate actions and resolutions, and involvement in more in-depth intervention. Advise client management and staff on interpretation of established human resources policies and procedures, recommending and approving actions outside of policy. Attract talent to the organization and provide quality staffing support in the recruitment of non-exempt, exempt, and management level personnel.

Assist the Organizational Development team in the design and delivery of appropriate training programs and organizational development initiatives. Assist the Compensation Team in the design and management of the facilitation, coordination, and approval of compensation cycles and events for the client management team. Provide regular metrics for HR-related activities to client groups. Conduct exit interviews with separating employees. Prepare reports summarizing turnover activity and trends.

This candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a human resources generalist/consulting role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Solid recruiting/ selection skills and a strong knowledge of employee relations policies and procedures is required. Must be a proactive manager with the ability to develop relationships with and influence managers and staff at all levels within the organization in a diplomatic and constructive way. This candidate should have the potential and desire to progress into a Director level position. Bachelor?s degree is required and a Masters degree is preferred. Pharmaceutical or chemical industry experience is a plus.
